What a recovery session may help with
- Muscle soreness after hard sessions. Studies on red light suggest it may reduce post-exercise soreness and support muscle recovery.
- Circulation and stiffness. The vibration plate activates your muscles and gets blood moving without adding training load.
- Getting back to training. Many athletes use sessions between hard days as part of an active recovery routine.
- Pre-event preparation. Some athletes use red light before competition. Talk to us about timing around race day.
A recovery session supports your training, it does not replace a physio or biokineticist. If you are carrying an injury, keep your physio in the loop.

Questions people ask
When should I book a session around training?
Many athletes book on an easy or rest day, or after a hard session or match. Before a race, a session a day or two out is a common choice. Tell us your training week and we will help you plan.
Can I use it while I'm injured?
Red light and vibration are used in some rehab settings, but every injury is different. Check with your physio or doctor first, especially for acute injuries, fractures or recent surgery.
How long is a session?
Every session is 40 minutes and combines the red light panel and the vibration plate. Plan a few extra minutes for your first visit, when we go through a short health questionnaire.
What does it feel like?
The red light feels gently warm. The plate feels like a fast, steady buzz through your legs and body. Most people find the session relaxing. Tell us straight away if anything feels uncomfortable.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what you want to achieve. Some people notice a difference after a few sessions, others need a regular block of sessions. After your first visit we will suggest a realistic plan, and you can buy a package to bring the price per session down.
Is it suitable for everyone?
Most healthy adults can use it. Please check with your doctor first if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other electronic implant, epilepsy, a recent blood clot, cancer, or recent surgery, or if you take medication that makes you sensitive to light. We go through a short health questionnaire with everyone before their first session.
